Rowena Held is a technical consultant who assists in patent prosecution. She works with patent matters in a variety of technological areas, including mechanical and engineering arts. Her research background is in mathematical physics, including a collaborative paper on Riemannian geometry of octonionic projective planes, published in Differential Geometry and its Applications. After completing a bachelors in physics at Lewis & Clark College she went on to study theoretical particle physics at the University of Victoria, Canada. Rowena enjoys sharing her passion for physics and math with others, and tutors high school and undergraduate students in her spare time.
